In a career spanning over three decades as a writer-producer of television comedies including Maude, The Hogan Family, Home Improvement, and Frasier, Charlie Hauck demonstrated a rare skill for creating comedy that addressed challenging personal and social issues while remaining very, very funny.
A member of the board of the Writers Guild Foundation for 15 years, Charlie was deeply committed to the Foundation’s mission. Donations will benefit the Foundation's community mentorship programs, library and archive, and other important work.
