  3. Write-A-Thon: Hocus Focus - Sponsored by The Black List
  • Are you frightened by that unfinished script sitting in your drafts folder? Fear not: we have a wickedly good Write-A-Thon coming up sponsored by our friends at The Black List!

Join us for a six-hour writing sprint with our library staff on hand to help with script requests and a community of fellow hard-at-work writers inspiring you to brainstorm, revise or finish that script! We’ll also have fun activities planned, including horror-themed trivia and an opening conversation about writing jump scares with a special guest. Dinner, snacks, and drinks will be provided, and those who stick around to the very end will be entered into a raffle to win prize packages courtesy of The Black List.

Proceeds for this event benefit the Foundation’s library, archive, and other outreach programs. That’s right: you get some quality writing time in while simultaneously making a difference in our community.

Doors open at 3pm PT. Space is very limited for this event, so secure your spot today.

No refunds or exchanges. All sales are final. By purchasing a ticket, you agree to our Event Ticket Policy and our Code of Conduct Policy. To learn more, visit our Policies page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to us at events@wgfoundation.org.
