A Message From Roseann Higgins
I attended the Writers Guild Festival last week and am more excited than ever to hear if my application to the Veterans Writing Project will get me a spot in their year long course! Getting to learn how to write a show from real Hollywood writers is exciting. I’m learning there is so much to learn. The WGA writers are amazingly encouraging. I wish I’d known about this program when I got off active duty. But that would have changed the course of a lot of peoples’ lives who wouldn’t have met their true loves. And now I have even more stories to mine. All of the veterans in the program are paired with WGA members who represent the most beloved movies and television series past and present. The program is free and needs your donation to help sustain itself and enable more veterans to tell their stories and become paid writers in the industry! Any donation is welcome. Thank you in advance. Share this with anyone who is a veteran, cares about veterans and loves the movies and television!
