Writers on Writing takes a look at a screenwriter’s career and writing process, from their early introductions to screenwriting to their proudest career accomplishments—plus all the lessons learned in between.
For this session, we welcome writer, director, editor, and producer Mike Flanagan to discuss his extensive career in film and television with projects like Doctor Sleep, The Haunting of Hill House, and his recent film, The Life of Chuck. Mike will share insights from his journey through the industry, from adapting multiple Stephen King novels to the screen to how he runs his writers’ rooms, along with his advice for crafting gripping horror stories.
